Sew: Nurse Capelet

I'm finally able to bring you the last part of the nurse costume tutorial series. Today's post is how to sew a capelet/cape for a nurse costume, obviously this could be used for other costumes too. I love how this looks with the rest of the costume, plus it is practical! Walking around on Halloween night can be a chilly situation so having this capelet / cape will keep you nice and cosy.

Sew: Nurse Apron

I've shown you how to sew a nurse hat and how to sew a skirt for a nurse costume, now it's time to show you how to sew a nurse apron. You can make this apron for children or adults for any fancy dress occasion. Originally I made this costume for my sisters hen-do but the theme changed, so now I will be wearing it for Halloween!

Sew: Elastic Circle Skirt

Today I'm writing my first Halloween post on how to sew an Elastic Circle Skirt. I love the silhouette of a circle skirt, I think it's very feminine and flows beautifully! I chose this fabric because orange just screams Halloween to me and anything Glow-in-the-dark is going to be a winner to me! I can imagine my sister at a halloween disco looking awesome in a glow-in-the-dark skirt.
